Boarding your exotic pet is a service we are pleased to offer. This has proven to be extremely helpful to Miami's exotic pet community. Leave your pet in the hands of expert caretakers when you go out of town, and relax knowing your animal is safe and sound with us.

Our special housing accommodations consist of four separate wards, used and designed exclusively for birds and exotics. Healthy boarding animals are kept in a suite completely separate from our hospitalized patients. All birds are tested for Psittacosis (Chlamydophila) prior to being admitted to the boarding area. All pets require a comprehensive wellness exam prior to boarding.

Temperature-controlled cages, one-way viewing glass, and the absence of dogs and cats allow for a comfortable and stress-free environment for our animal visitors. All cages are made of stainless steel and are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. We have a variety of diets in our food room and feed our boarders well. All animals are checked on several times daily and receive the best of care at Avian & Exotic.
